Policies – Terms – Conditions

Below is a list of our Policies, Terms and Conditions. Please be sure to read these thoroughly before booking or staying with  us. By booking and staying with us, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.


Cancellations

  • Cancellations made up 7 days prior to arrival are fully refundable and will not incur a cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non refundable.

  • No shows will be treated as cancellations within 7 days and are not refundable.

Check In and Check Out

  • Check In – Anytime after 2:00PM

  • Check Out – Anytime prior to 10:00AM 

Reception Hours

  • Reception hours are 7:00AM to 7:00PM Everyday

  • For Arrivals after 7:00pm please contact Reception during office hours on (07 5536 6244 or anytime via email info@goldcoastairportmotel.com.au for information.

Smoking

  • We are a smoke friendly Motel and have a designated smoking area at the front of the building. Smoking is not permitted in or near the rooms or building, including balconies and the car park, it is only permitted in the designated smoking area. Please consider others when smoking.

  • Smoking in the room or anywhere other than the designated smoking area will incur a penalty of $250. This policy is abiding with Queensland Law.

Cooking

  • Cooking is not permitted in rooms however we do supply a microwave for heating food and drink as well as a toaster. We also supply cutlery and disposable plates and bowls at no extra cost to you. Heating food or drink in the microwave is fine but any other form of cooking in the room will incur a cleaning penalty to be determined by management. 

Additional Fees

  • American Express credit cards incur an additional 1.8% charge.

  • It is a condition of staying at this Motel that a credit card number is provided (or a cash amount to be determined by the Motel) as a room bond. You give permission for the Motel to take any due fees for any of the below reasons.

    • Any items taken or damaged

    • Any part of the room damaged

    • The room being left requiring extra cleaning. This fee will be dependent on the amount of additional cleaning required.

    • In accordance with our No Smoking and No Cooking Policies

    • Exceeding maximum room occupancy numbers. Exceeding maximum numbers may also result in extra people being refused entry.

Bookings

  • Bookings are not confirmed until a valid credit card is provided. This means a card with available funds and expiry date that will not expire before booking. Failure to provide this means the booking is not confirmed and the room could be on-sold. If you are unable to provide a valid card, a cash room bond is required and can be collected upon departure after 7.00am, once room is vacated and checked. We take full payment at time of booking and we do not do payment plans or hold rooms without payment.

Rates

  • Rates are subject to change at any time without notice. Any changes will not effect bookings already made and confirmed.

Behaviour

  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove, any guest(s) they deem to be not abiding by any of our policies, or for any other reason decided by Management.

  • This includes rudeness to staff, excessive noise and lack of consideration to other guests, damage to property, etc, etc.

Parking

  • Guests are allocated one bay per room and guests park their vehicles at their own risk. The bay is not allocated so you are free to use any available bay. Our premises are under 24 hour video surveillance but the Gold Coast Airport Motel take no responsibility for vehicles left.

Transfers

  • Complimentary transfers are available to the airport (we do not pick up). These are available during between 7am and Midday and must be booked in advance no later than 7pm the night before. Transfers are subject to availability so book early.

Room Key

  • Loss of the room key will incur a fee of a Locksmith to replace the locks. The fee will be determined on the day by the Locksmith obtained. The charge is on average approximately $150 on weekdays and $180 on weekends. The Locksmth invoice will be provided as proof of cost.

Storage

  • We do not store any items for longer than either the check in day or the check out day and items must be dropped or collected during Reception hours. If items are left in the room, they will be disposed of and are not the responsibility of the Motel to store for the guest.

Parcels and Mail

  • We do not accept or store parcels or mail on behalf of guests. If you wish to receive mail during your stay, please have it sent to a local Post Office where you can collect it free of charge. Any mail or parcels that arrive for guests will not be accepted or returned to sender.
